Day 1 : New York City

Welcome to the “Big Apple!”. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy time at leisure to relax or to do some independent exploring.

Day 2 : New York City

On today’s sightseeing tour, see the major attractions—Broadway, the Empire State Building, Greenwich Village, bustling Chinatown, City Hall, Wall Street, and Trinity Church. This evening, choose from the city’s many fine restaurants or maybe take in a Broadway show.

Day 3 : New York City / Pocono Mountains / Niagara Falls, Canada

Depart Manhattan, heading northwest across New Jersey through the Pocono Mountains and into upstate New York, arriving in Corning at midday. Late this afternoon, cross the border at Rainbow Bridge and proceed to the Canadian side of the Niagara River in Ontario. Spend the next two nights in beautiful Niagara Falls.

NOTE: This vacation requires a Canadian Visa as you visit Niagara Falls on the Canadian side.

Day 4 : Niagara Falls, Canada

Your morning sightseeing will give you spectacular views of the falls from scenic points on the rim of the gorge and from the deck of your sightseeing cruise, where you will experience the thundering water up close. The afternoon is free.

NOTE: Operation of the Niagara Falls sightseeing cruise is subject to favorable weather conditions. When weather is unfavorable, a walking tour through the scenic tunnels will be substituted. Last day of operation for the 2015 season is 24 October.

Day 5 : Niagara Falls, Canada / Philadelphia

Head southeast through the Appalachian Mountains and into the Susquehanna River Valley. Then, on to the handsome city of Philadelphia for an overnight stay.

Day 6 : Philadelphia / Washington DC Area

The birthplace of American Independence, the “City of Brotherly Love” is steeped in history. Your morning orientation tour focuses on the historic landmarks, then on to the U.S. capital and seat of government, Washington DC, for a 2-night stay. Later, join the optional outing, featuring dinner followed by a tour of the city’s most famous memorials.

Day 7 : Washington DC Area

The nation’s Capital is a sightseeing treasure trove, and your half-day tour with a Local Guide features the Korean, Vietnam, and National WWII Memorials, Arlington National Cemetery, and other Well known sights. Stop for photos at the White House and Capitol Hill. The afternoon is free. Your Tour Director will suggest independent activities for exploring this fascinating city.

Day 8 : Washington DC Area / Los Angeles

Morning at leisure before transferring to the airport for your flight to Los Angeles.

NOTE: Intra-tour air from Washington DC to Los Angeles is not included in the tour price and is to be arranged on your own.

Day 9 : Washington DC Area / Los Angeles

Begin the day with a sightseeing tour of the world’s “Capital of Glamour” and the legendary Sunset Strip. Afterward, the day is free for your own exploration. Visit Hollywood and the Hollywood History Museum, stroll down Olvera Street, or visit the Getty Centre with its wonderful art collection. For the evening, plenty of suggestions for dining and shopping will be available.

Day 10 : Los Angeles / Palm Springs.

Today We make our way to the desert oasis of Palm Springs. Ever since Hollywood stars first came here in the 1930s, laying claim to ranch-style estates and holing up in elite hotels, the clean dry air and sunshine have made Palm Springs irresistible. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 11 : Palm Springs / Scottsdale

This morning, take a Phoenix sightseeing tour, including downtown and the State Capitol Building. Next, experience Old Town Scottsdale, where Western storefronts create an aura of the past.

Day 12 : Scottsdale / Sedona / Oak Creek Canyon / Grand Canyon / Williams

Travel to Sedona, a thriving center for New Age arts set in Canyon Country. On to the weather sculptured rock formations of Oak Creek Canyon. Travel alongside the San Francisco Mountains and beautiful pine forests to the South Rim of the GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK. Time to stroll the canyon rim—or for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, take our optional helicopter flight seeing excursion for incomparable views of flame-colored walls plunging 6,000 feet into the Colorado River. Overnight in Williams.

Day 13 : Williams / Las Vegas

Cross the old Mojave gold-strike country, which still bears traces of century-old ghost towns set in natural desert beauty. Watch for Joshua trees, a species of the lily family that grows to more than 40 feet in height and can live up to 300 years. By late afternoon, reach Las Vegas, the fantastic city of feverish gambling, neon lights, bars, and glamorous shows. Be sure to explore some of the many themed casino resorts along the colorful “Strip.” This evening, we highly recommend a night out to a dazzling stage show featuring top Vegas entertainment.

Day 14 : Las Vegas

The morning and afternoon are free for you to swim and sunbathe at the hotel pool or explore the varied casinos and shopping plazas. Your Tour Director will have more suggestions to fill your day. Consider a river float trip through the Black Canyon.

Day 15 : Las Vegas / Mammoth

A day of striking natural contrasts as the journey continues across the desert landscape of Nevada before crossing into California and ascending into the snowcapped Sierra Nevadas. Overnight in Mammoth, a popular alpine resort area surrounded by beauty and majesty—and within easy reach of Yosemite National Park.

NOTE: Tioga Pass is closed typically from November to the end of May due to snow. When it is closed, this tour is re-routed to stay overnight in Tulare instead of Mammoth Lakes. Departures from the end of May through mid-October are expected to overnight in Mammoth Lakes,however, weather may affect the routing of tours to Tulare during these times.

Day 16 : Mammoth / Yosemite National Park / Modesto

Cross the high Tioga Pass and enter Yosemite National Park, a wonderland of spectacular lakes, cascading waterfalls, lush forests, and giant granite domes, pinnacles, and mountains rising more than 4,000 feet. Afterward, drive to Modesto.

Day 18 : San Francisco

This morning, visit the famous and fascinating ALCATRAZ PRISON. Get a close-up look at the infamous federal penitentiary that was off limits to the public for years. Afterward, the day is yours to do some more exploring in the “City by the Bay.” Ride San Francisco’s historic cable cars or take a walking tour of one of the city’s diverse neighborhoods.

NOTE: The National Park Service requires we disclose the value of the Alcatraz Prison visit is $30US.

Day 17 : Modesto / Sacramento / San Francisco

Head toward Sacramento, capital of California, with time to explore Old Sacramento. “Old Town,” as the locals call it, features a Wild West ambiance. During your visit, see the country’s largest collection of Gold Rush-era buildings, a Wells Fargo museum, and a historic railroad museum. From Old Town, continue west to reach San Francisco by early afternoon. Cross the splendid bay with vistas of the San Francisco skyline and its magnificent harbor. On your city tour, see the main sights, including the renowned Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf, and Nob Hill. Tonight you may choose to join your traveling companions for an optional evening in Chinatown.

Day 19 : San Francisco

The trip ends today with guests departing on individual schedules. Transfers to San Francisco International Airport are included.

Important Notes :

Our packages are individual services and not groups and circuits closed with guides. Only during the regular excursion included in the package the passengers will be guided with a group.

The order of events and places visited can change from the original program due to weather or operational problems and holidays in each country and city, possibility of transport, museums, shows, etc., can change their usual schedules and remain closed without notice.

Services

Air Transport

The packages do not include the price of air transport, unless otherwise mentioned, in “The Package includes”. Airline tickets, when included is issued with the unique contract between the passenger and the air company. The air company is not responsible in any event if the passenger is not on board.

Transfers

As specified in the itinerary, including transport by taxi or minivan or Coach and assistance in most routes. The arrival and departure transfers of packages are made based on dates as per the booking . In the case of loss of connection or last minute changes, the passenger must contact directly and immediately Holidays4u for modification of time of your arrival transfer (two hours before of the time entered) under penalty of losing this service as no show. If client has lost luggage on arrival at the airport, we request to inform one of our representatives (assistant or driver) to wait at the airport. People with special conditions shall notify this request for an appropriate transfer.

Hotels

All hotels offered in our packages were selected between the best of each category and include daily breakfast and taxes. If availability does not exist for a specific hotel mentioned, similar hotels will be used. If guests want a specific hotel, in another location and different from those used in the packages, you can request during the booking and the confirmation is subject to availability and appropriate supplement.

Keeping in mind the itinerary, we take great care to select the locations of hotels, which are chosen both for their comfort and value for money. Due to conventions and trade fairs, etc in the cities the hotels may be blocked out more than 2 years in advance. In view of this, you may have to stay in hotels further away from the cities and itineraries may have to be amended / altered. All hotels are twin bedded (in Europe) and in keeping with European standards are comparatively small. Single rooms are much smaller than twin-bedded rooms. General check in time is usually 2 p.m. and check out time is usually 12 Noon ., early check-in and late check-out is subject to availability unless pre-paid and booked in advance.

Any damage caused to the hotel property by you will have to be paid by you directly to the hotel and we would not be responsible and / or liable for the same.

“All clients will be expected to pay a deposit to the hotels, as per hotel policy upon check in. This is mainly for extras/damages etc. Should there be no costs involved; the same will be refunded to the client. Suggest not to pay deposit by debit or credit cards. This policy cannot be waived & must be complied by all clients ”

Accomodation

On Double occupancy, double beds in hotel rooms are not subject to confirmation, only offered to the guests subject to availability on the day of check in. On triple occupancy, mostly, is made from the double room with an additional bed. A double room has a queen-size bed and a twin room has two separate beds. Requests for double rooms will be subject to availability and in cases when a double is not available, we will provide you with a twin room. We recommend a maximum of only three persons in one room. Triple rooms are usually no larger than twin rooms and the third bed is often a rollaway bed or cot placed in a twin room. Modern facilities such as attached toilets with showers / bathtubs are provided. The prices for single occupancy is for individual rooms.

Cruises

All cruise itineraries, prices and ships are subject to change without prior notice by shipping companies. The conditions and specific information of shipping companies responsible for cruises can be found on their own brochures or websites. Due to variation of fuel prices during the year an additional surcharge for fuel on the packages may apply, this information will be notified in due time. If you have any doubt or require additional information, please, consult our Holiday Experts.

Tours & Sightseeing

The tours include air conditioned coach and professional guides in English . All tours and excursions for cruises as well as excursions not mentioned in “Package includes” are not included in the packages being optional.

Meals

As specified in the descriptions of the routes. Services described in the “Packages includes” containing “Lunch and Dinner ” . Meal coupons will be provide which can be redeemed at our partner restaurants . In the event , the reservation is made under the guest name in Restaurants – Coupons will not be provided.

Policy

Prices

All prices are subject to change without prior notification, due to increase by hotels and operators, shipping companies, exchange fluctuation or fuel surcharges.

Not Included in the Package Price

Airline tickets and airport taxes (except those which are specified), costs of passports and visas, laundry services, phone calls, beverages, meals not indicated in the itinerary, tips any type, personal costs, baggage excess and its transfer, optional tours and excursions during the cruise and anything that is not mentioned in specific package.

Deposits & Final Payment

A mandatory deposit of 10,000 per person, per package (which will not be refunded) or full payment if the value is less than 30,000 in the booking. The rest of payment shall be 21 days prior to arrival. Booking made less than 21 days prior to guest arrival, must have full payment.

Children’s Discount

Children’s discounts will be available upon request.

Cancellations / Refunds

All cancellations must be made in writing and will be answered within 24 hours of receipt by our operator. A reservation should be considered cancelled only after receiving our confirmation of such cancellation. If a cancellation is received less than 60 days prior to the arrival of guest, the cancellation expenses will be charged according to the following table:

There will be no refund for unused services or changes in itineraries made by passengers without permission. During the performance of Tour, the guest must contact and request changes of the reservation directly with the local agent representative.

Baggage

Passenger shall be fully responsible for their luggage and personal belongings during the course of the trip. Regarding to land transport, luggage and other personal belongings should be kept with you, whatever part of the vehicle that will be placed and will be transported at the risk of the user. Baggage on air transport, rail, sea or driving, conditions of transport companies will apply, being the ticket passage, the document binds the mentioned companies to the passenger. If client suffer any baggage damage, loss or delay, the passenger must present a claim against the Transport Company. For transport of large volumes of luggage such as bicycles, surfboards, etc, a supplement will apply (please consult). The tour packages in tourist class can have a piece of 20kg in air transport. The company may charge a supplement or can refuse baggage that exceed this weight or parts. Recommended not to store valuables, medication, passport, documents or money inside baggage. If you want to have this procedure, make a statement before travelling.

Tips / Taxes / Tickets

Tickets to museums and sites during excursions are included. Not included any kind of tip, and the tips are at your discretion.

Travel Documents

Passenger must have valid passport, and visas for the countries that require them. Under 18 years old must have an authorization letter written and signed by their parents or guardians as such document can be requested by any authority. In the case of loss of a document for passenger such as hotel voucher, ferries tickets, air tickets, etc, Holidays4u will not be held responsible and the penalty that will apply for a new booking and issuance of such documents.

Health Requirements

Any physical or mental disability requiring special attention or treatment must be noted at time of reservation. The tour operator and/or its representative reserve the right to exclude such passengers if necessary, unless prior arrival for their participation has been obtained from local, cruise and land operators.

Travel Insurance

Our packages do not include travel insurance, for this to protect your investment, we recommend for you to purchase full travel insure that will cover the entire cost of your trip in case cancellation, trip interruption for any reason, etc. The best insurance for you can be indicated by your travel agent.

Personal Attention

The staff of Holidays4u are available 24 hours / 7 days a week, anytime of day or night, to help the customer to resolve any inconvenience. Incidents that are not reported to our attention during clients stay, cannot be treated with attention and appropriate action and certainly cannot be considered after the client’s departure.

Responsibility

Holidays4u is a Tourist Operator in Chennai and representative acting as agents between the client and the local operators, land, hotels, cruises and transport companies related with the booking made through Operator. Responsibility of Operator and Representatives are limited. The services received by passengers of several suppliers of package or service accepted are the responsibility of the same, for this Holidays4u cannot be responsible for loss and personal injury or materials suffered for whatever reason, and the complaint must be notified to local suppliers. The Operator and their representatives not accept responsibility in case of damage, loss, accident, injury, illness or other irregularities caused by defects in vehicles used for transport, or for failures and for non-compliance by local operators, or any agency associated, including its employees are involved with booking through the Tour Operator. The Operator and its representatives are not responsible for any consular, political, military complications created voluntarily or involuntarily by the passenger or by any other person or reason.
